Perhaps it is better to say they are the inverse of one another, in Ahiru no Sora the MC is a small, happy-go-lucky high schooler who sets out to make an official basketball club which until this point has been the den for a group of delinquents. Instead of Slam Dunk where a tall and highly athletic delinquent who has never played before joins a somewhat distinguished basketball team.
