Both are about the adventures of a girl and a mysterious guy who protects her. In 'Hanatsukihime,' the heroine is a dancer who is looking for the demon who gave her his heart. In 'Vision of the Other Side,' the female lead is a princess who is running away from the "Battle Demon" whom she is supposed to marry.
In my opnion, Vision is much better.
