The main characters remind me of each other... Also they are school shoujo's, neither of them start with high school. Nekota no Koto ga Kininatte Shikatanai starts in their elementary school years, Romantica Clock starts in their middle school years. So the characters are a bit more immature (in an accurate way, not annoying as long as you keep in mind that they are younger) and their love more innocent.
Also if you tire of the typical "mean" girl who has no other personality other than "mean," & hates the female protagonist - both manga avert that with their brattier girl characters, who retain charming personalities.
