I'm Sakamoto and Cromartie High School both specialise in absurdist comedy in a high school setting. The main characters create comedic scenarios in different ways; Sakamoto has so much charisma that he can seemingly warp reality to work in his favour, whilst Kamiyama is the only character with more than two braincells but slowly loses them over the course of the series by way of osmosis. Though I find the incredibly short chapters more effort to read due to reduced story flow, I actually prefer Cromartie High School as it utilises this quality to continually build punchlines on top of each other, meaning the more
