They're pretty but they both have scary looks. One is branded "Sadako" with the creepy atmosphere everywhere she goes and whatever she does, and the other, someone with a menacing smile in front of a camera.
Both are a great read, good character development, and yes ... both are dense when it comes to love.

the main girl characters remind me of each other. both Sawako and Naka are people who have scary facial expressions but can actually look really beautiful. They are also both sweet people who struggle at realizing their love and misunderstand how to act on it. Mostly thought it is how they move and act when they are nervous.

Both have a high school girl who looks very creepy when they smile.
Both girls fall for a charismatic, nice guy.
Kimi Ni Todoke relates to relationships and a little more towards the shoujo genre, Nousatsu Junkie has a fashion related environment with more comedy.
