Even if both series are very different plot-wise, the female protagonists are very similar because:
1. Both girls are actually nice and kind-hearted but has trouble communicating with others properly.
2. Although the circumstances are different, they end up telling the opposite of what they really wanted to say - thus, resulting to people seeing them as arrogant and conceited.
3. Throughout the story, both of them also work hard to be more honest with their feelings and reach out to other people.
