Such entity doesn't care how much humans it sacrificed, as long as it could accomplished it's goal.
Imagine, you are just some normal mf and some dude pulls up and be like "ayo, save da world" or "become meguca :)". Bruh.
It is really a switch-up situation down here with PMMM and Vivy's Song, in that both anime feature girls who've, until now, are pretty much the guardians of an unspeakably incomprehensible number of human inhabitants. It wasn't as if there was a choice as well (only in one of the anime), but the forceful nature in both has a hand-in-hand coherence making it all the more similar.

It has a similar premise of taking a rather cutsie genre, Madoka being Magical girls and Vivy being Idols, then bringing a dark twist to that normally preppy genre.
Vivy is incredibly beautiful and has horrific/gruesome visuals whereas Madoka is all around very cute with a dark story being unveiled through the series.
I think if you liked the thriller and horror of magica madoka you would like the story of Vivy and vice versa.
