Both series feature the main character surrounded by women with different quirks. You can expect the MC to be the butt of many jokes, and the humour in both series is a delight and well constructed.

One major aspect that makes KonoSuba so appealing is that it takes several light novel tropes and cliches and just dicks around with them; it just has fun with them. And that's exactly what "Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?" does as well. Both series are aware of these facets and use them to their advantage. Both are parodies of over-saturated genres executed profoundly by Studio Deen with some of the best comedic writing I have ever witnessed in an anime.

Funny protagonist who was given the possibility to start again after his death by the help of a weird powerful girl. One was brought to another world while the other became a zombie. He gets often humiliated and have to do his job with a group of dumbasses to help him.
