There lots of similarity when we talk about both anime such as -
-Both male protagonist just want a quite,peaceful life but end up with lots of trouble.
-Both have to deal with alien who come out of nowhere and ruin their life.(and lots of other supernatural thing!!)
-Both animes parody other anime, including very brief yet entertaining skits.
-Different kind of comedy but you guys going to enjoy watching male protagonist being bully around with the girl around them!!
If you guy enjoy watching this, you might as well try watching Haiyore! Nyaruko-san!!

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san is probably the most similar anime to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which exists. It's not even close a perfect match, but it's as good as we're going to get.
