Both are slice of life comedies that are character driven with a small cast and put a smile on your face.
Working!! and Tanaka-kun are easy-to-watch and funny anime centered on the characters and their interactions. Both are slice-of-life, so naturally don't expect to see some overarching plots or action, but instead the cast's lives and all the ridiculous things they do.
If you like Working!!'s characters, you'll probably like Tanaka-kun's too. Miyano is similar to Popura, and Shiraishi's shy girlyness might remind you of Inami. (no punching from Shiraishi though, sorry.)
Every episode of both anime is enjoyable, even if there's something you don't find funny, it's quickly over and on to something else funny. The jokes in both are brilliant, in my opinion.
