While both shows have completely different generes, both share everything else. Both anime share the episodic style with interconected story points and characters that get foreshadowed every episode. Both are carefully woven stories with interesting characters crossing paths and storylines. Both share a distinctive art style, Kuuchuu Buranko being more chaotic and colorful, and Odd Taxi being... well... represented with animals as characters. Both share a protagonist which serves as a center and in some cases guide for the rest of the cast while dealing with problems of their own.
