Both are from a similar genre - slice of life/comedy, both are set round a group of girls who attend a high school and get into hilarious situations. The cast in Hyakko does eventually involve most of its class whereas Diaoh keeps its initial close group of friends, but both are hilarious and worth a watch

Group of girls going through their high school lives with no real plot. Two characters, one serious and one very energetic and outgoing, that get into arguments all the time. Very crazy and very fun.

similar interesting, weird characters and events..:3 sooooo funny and cute!!
Hyakko and Azumanga Daiou both take place in high school and center around a main group of girls and focus on their relationship and all the crazy shenanigans' of daily life. The characters in both series have similar tropes, and the overall feeling, pacing, and vibe is very similar in each series respectively.
