Both are pretty similar in both genres (drama, fantasy,shounen ai), characters, abilities (empathy) and both have supernatural plots.
The same dark angsty supernatural theme.
Yami no Matsuei and Uraboku both focus on bishounen hot drawn male characters and shounen ai.
They feel very alike, the main plot story of angels fighting vs demons and the love between the main characters being complicated by past occurences.
