If you liked the overall feel of Whisper of The Heart, then you will defiantly like Kiki's Delivery Service. Both are Ghibli movies(although Whisper of the Heart isn't directed by Miyazaki), about a girl on a journey to find her place in the world, be who she wants to be, and find love(more so in Whisper of the Heart). Both are in a relaxing setting, where nothing moves too fast or too slow, and both have great themes of life(growing up, being yourself, love,dreams,etc).Shizuku and Kiki are both similar in personality. Tales of young women finding their passions.
While Kiki is a more fantastical story, the two stories both have slice of life elements, gorgeous Ghibli scenery, realistic and charming female protagonists, and of course, adorable cat characters!
Both films are great for kids, especially girls.

They're both made by the same studios and same people.
Both are down to earth simple stories that have a lot of whimsy in different ways.
Both feature young teenage girls just trying to live theirs and solve simple problems that young teenagers would have to deal with.
I feel like especially in the west Whisper of the Heart isn’t as well known and it’s such a shame. Both are incredibly endearing stories about young girls trying to find their place in the world. Where Kiki mixes it up with fantasy, Whisper of the Heart doesn’t have as much of it, but it doubles in realistic representation. The romance is a little bit more accentuated but it doesn’t belittle either characters involved and it’s honestly heartwarming
