Reverse-isekai premise makes this similar. "Demonic" otherworldy characters are put in a humanizing light and mundane slice of life scenarios for comedic effect. If you enjoyed this sequel season but still feel disappointed from the first season of Hataraku Maou-sama!, this would serve as a nice palette cleanser since it's the first season, free from any set standard. Like this second season, Jahy-Sama features a similar "chibi-ish" art style and mildly-funny comedy, also with a kid cast member that feels more like a character however as opposed to a "cute" prop.
