It is simply the story directing that merited this recommendation. The ability for the story to somehow have a semi-episodic nature and then circle back round to the main theme or, the initial premise of the entire story. It is almost cyclical.
This is really just a technical recommendation, if you are a fan of not what is being presented, but how it is being executed, then you want to try out either Great Pretender or Vivy's Song. Each arc is enough to hook you in any way, considering you watch them fast enough. Though, it is more true for Great Pretender than it is for
