Both fantasies set in a world where demons are present. Although the plots differ, their style and fantastical royalty feels very similar. They have vibrant colour palettes where Beelzebub has more of a pastel feel whereas Maoujou is a bit more grungy overall due to the nature of the anime. Although similar in style, Beelzebub is a lot more fluffy whereas Maoujou is a lot more intense in their plots.

The other side of daily life in the demon's world starring a Princess/Queen and their subordinates/friends. These two have many similarities; such as the presentation of each episode (2-3 separated focused themes), both have rich atmosphere settings, lots of cute reactions/expressions, and rom-com (not much in Maoujou but in Beelzebub-jou, yes). You should consider it if you like comedy, cute characters, and brilliant atmospheres.

Both great fantasy slice of life. Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu also has some romance but overall great shows to pass time.

Both are about super cute royalty girls in settings that should, in theory, be extremely dark, but are actually also very cute. Both lack substance and mostly thrive on sheer cuteness alone. Both have vibrant colors and fluffiness. If you like one, you will surely like the other.

These two share a remarcable rich and friendly eternity atmosphere. Maoujou is a bit cruel though and, apparently, not fully eternal, but it has a nice concept of its own.

The two animes have many things in common, especially the protagonist. In Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama, Beelzebub likes things that are soft and fluffy, while in Maoujou de Oyasumi, the princess also looks for fluffy and soft things that can provide a good night's sleep, both animes portraying this in a very similar fashion. I would even say that the author of oyasumi maoujou probably took some inspiration by the atmosphere of Beelzebub-jou.
