Both movies share the idea of transiency of life by showing most significant events; both share some general vibes. Similar themes like significance of memories and importance of family bonds, how important is to stay wholesome and supportive to people that surround you.

both are focused on kids and family issues as well as really nice to look at art and character designs too.

Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms and Mirai have an interesting connection. They both focus on children who end up disliking what their family has to bring about. Promised Flower follows long-living Iorph Maquia and human Ariel living together even with Maquia knowing the consequences of doing so. Mirai follows a jealous Kun and tries to do everything in his power to take back the love from his little sister Mirai. Both are good anime movies with simple, but appealing visuals. Promised Flower being a fantasy in comparison to a real-world wich Mirai gives.
