Both are testaments to show that fully CG anime aren't always bad.
Both have interesting worlds that make you want to learn more about the setting.
Both shows have a non-human species, which live in society, that is different from ours. Both shows use a CGI-style and have similar vibes and soundtracks. Also, it's same studio.

CGI in anime is rarely well received, but animation studio Orange has proven that a fully CGI anime can be great, with stunning visuals that make the whole experience even better.
But CGI isn't the only similarity between these two incredible series. Both are character-driven stories, with drama, non-human characters acting and being more human than in most anime. Both protagonists are faced with self-hatred and the difficulty of changing as a person.
I can't promise you will like these series as much as I did, but at least give them a try, they are definitely worth watching, even if you think you don't like CGI or
