The theme of the two animes are completely different, but they were made with the same spirit—a spirit of complete artistic integrity; a desire to expand the boundaries of what anime is.
The art in Ping Pong the animation is daring, and while not obvious when taken at face value, the personality of the anime has a decent amount of depth.
