Similar character dynamics, characters in general are very similar, the type of humor is super similar, identical setting, and the different characters’ backstories are very similar (aside from the whole revenge plot line in Masamune-Kun).
The only difference between these two shows is that the MC of Masamune-Kun has a plot related reason to get closer to his version of the Alya and that Masamune-Kun has more exaggerated humor, but aside from that the two shows are almost entirely identical; truthfully speaking, Alya-san is the better anime but both are a fun watch and if you enjoyed watching Alya-San enough to look for anime similar
