Both titles are action-packed anime filled with violence, blood, gore and plenty of hellish demonic monsters. The main protagonist in both anime have to fight for survival and must give up some of their humanity to fight against powerful evil supernatural forces. However Devilman takes place in a modern day world while Berserk takes place in a medieval fantasy setting. If you like one, you will enjoy the other.
