Schick x Evangelion, He Wei Dao x Hui Yeda Xiaojie Xiangyao Wo Gaobai Recommendations
You may reading this and be thinking "What the hell is he on about" and rest ensure everything I will say in this recommendations will not be a waste of your time.
Both of these ads are unironically the best things that has ever happened to the anime industry. Its just amazing how Kaguya and Evangelion created perfect plot episodes that have a pretty good budget and have important plot points to both of its original shows. Even though the Kaguya ad isn't yet confirmed cannon to its original show as for now. It shows the story of Shirogane facing this ever lasting challenge of who
gets to blow the hot steams off Kaguya's noodles first. You may be saying, "How is that entertaining?" and I would agree with you, but you don't realise how important this plot is truely towards the show. If you have watched the original show before, it follows the daily routine of the Shirogane and Kaguya doing random things to get another confess their feelings in each ep. Even though Chika ruins their plot all the time; it just bloody genius on how the creator of this show to manage to create this masterpiece of an ad to show how they can help a large noodle company set their dominance to their competitors. If I was living in Japan at the broadcasting of this ad, I would buy only He Wei Dao noodles to eat everyday as my sign of respect to this masterpiece of an this anime ad. Like seriously, I want He Wei Dao noodles to be introduce in Australia just so I can show everyone that I am a proud He Wei Dao enjoyer.
Now onto the Schick x Evangelion ad. Even though the budget of the ad is pretty crappy compared to the Kaguya ad. Its still amazing on how it taught me to shave properly. Thank you so much Shinji's dad for teaching me this, and if I was an Japanese adult back when they were selling the specific Schick razor. I would 100% buy all them for myself and keep it as a trophy to show that I'm genuine Schick enjoyer. Not only that but the best part of this ad is that its cannon to the Evangelion series. I was gobsmacked when I found out about this, and cannot utter any words to describe how happy I was back then. I just love how Gendo Ikari finds the key of obtaining eternal happiness by shaving off his hairy beard. Even though it sounds stupid to some people; I didn't care all of that crap because Shinji's dad finally showed some sort of emotions to the audience than doing his sigma hand gestures in every bloody scene he is in! This is honestly a game changer to the Evangelion series, and its the reason on why I watched the series in first place.
tl;dr: Both are hands down the best anime ads I have ever seen in my life, and I recommend you to watch both ads when you have the time.
