Characters in both series have to travel around a world that is a weird version of the real one and feature a lot of wacky and insane things.
Both stories are about a journey through fantastical, scary, otherworldly, hillarious and bizzare realities, the end destination of which is achieving an understanding or forgiveness with those closest to us.
Also, both are really good shows.
