Both use old tropes but do them right. Highly enjoyable shows with likeable characters that have good interaction (and MCs are somewhat similar as they are both considered weak at first), good fights, good animation. Examples of well made shows that turn out to be more than you may think looking at the cover. Both give off a very similar vibe.
Basically same concept mc has no affinity to anything but has a one shot killer super trick that makes him op af
they start despised then they are looked upon and are cool
both are very similar i'd say, very fun and interesting to watch and more you watch more interesting it gets
Both story are set in a Magic Academy and both main character are considered "Weak" in the eyes of others person. Besides both main character are in almost the lowest position of their communities
These series utilize similar tropes and concepts.
Let's start with the main character, where in both series, the main character is usually looked down upon; that's one obvious similarity, but there's more to it than implied.
Aside from that, it seems these series have a similarity in which they interweave comedy within their story-line, as well as being self-aware of the cliches that they may be using.
The main character looks weak at the first time but actually have a potential. The heroine also pretty similiar, they doubt the mc first but in the end they fall in love with the mc. oh and also the heroine had the same personality. both anime is pretty enjoyable
