Both shows are about humanity being on the brink of extinction due to some superhuman monsters, and in this case the monsters bite humans into one of their kind. In Seraph of the End the monsters are vampires, and in Kabaneri, the monsters are zombies. Both are animated by Wit and music is done by Hiroyuki Sawano. Both are shows that have a similar setup to Attack on Titan. Both shows have a MC that are quite fed up with the situation that he makes it his mission to exterminate all of these monsters that threaten humanity.

Both anime have an apocalyptic environment where our characters struggle to survive against the human threat known as:
-Kabane (Koutetsujou no Kabaneri)
-Vampires (Owari no Seraph)
* It is largely about the members' struggles against the various monsters that come to invade.
* The action and music stands out as much which is a credit to all the hardwork that has been established into the series.
* Both of these anime uses various weapons to destroy those invaders...
* Both male leads are no longer human (kind of 50/50)
* Horrifying and Awesome !!
A post-apocalyptic Earth, where the protagonist through revenge, will become someone "special" able to defeat those monsters that took away their loved ones and will join with others equally special.

Kabaneri and Owari no Seraph both displays the downfall of humanity and the superiority of supernatural beings (Kabane and Vampires) over humans. It also shows the courage and boldness of humans to fight those beings in order to retrieve back the world which once they owned. For the main characters, Mika (OnS) and Ikoma (KnK), they have the blood of the creatures that conquers their world. Mika became a vampire and Ikoma is half-human and half-kabane (kabaneri)
