The relationship between Kureha, Lulu and Ginko reminded me to the relationship between Karen, Hikari and Mahiru. Two girls fated to meet each other after a long time and a third one in the relationship that sadly has a tragic fate.
Also there's a lot of GL undertones, although Revue Starlight is less explicit.
