In both titles, older (Daa! Daa! Daa!) or younger (Sharp) kids are taking care of a baby. This baby came from another world/planet, has supernatural powers and can fly.
The daily chores of raising a baby with changing diapers, sleepless nights and other difficulties form an important part of both series. Keeping the powers of the baby in check (especially to prevent it from flying) adds to the challenge.
