Both are longer then average Tv series featuring similarly aged young protagonists investigating a strange phenomenon that is happening in their city, both of them are in the scifis with plenty of drama and emotional moments between the characters, often revolving around their friendship. Thay also follow similar art styles and can be dark in some moments, but have some comedic moments as well.
