This two shows are directed by Seiji Kishi and the scripts are written by Makoto Uezu. As a result we get the same random over the top humor. There are good chances that if you like one, you'll like the other.
These guys should stick to comedy. I'm desperate to find something as Hilarious as Seto no Hayanome and at least Carnival Phantasms comes close even though they are thematically worlds apart.
