Kekkai Sensen

"Noragami" and "Blood Blockade Battlefront" / "Kekkai Sensen" are two supernatural action series by Studio Bones focusing on individuals with special abilities battling against creatures from another world.
These two shows contain high-impact fight sequences in an alternate modern urban setting. Also, the protagonist of both shows is a formerly normal person who suddenly gets dragged into the situation, though each respectively has a different reason as to why they continue to cooperate.
An interesting world built around the ideas of the supernatural, in Noragami's case this is gods with interesting powers in abilities. This show eases the viewer into its rich environment well. It includes a great variety of comedy, shounen action, and general feel good moments, by no means a 10/10 but it is beautifully animated and has a memorable and intriguing story.

If you like stylish and colorful visuals, a fun cast of characters and the feel of an urban fantasy, then Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront) is definitely a good place to go from Noragami. However, Kekkai Sensen is often more dire than Noragami; the stakes tend to be higher and the drama is more palpable. But if you love over-the-top characters getting up to all manner of craziness in a beautifully designed world, then you can't go wrong with Kekkai Sensen.
