Godzilla: S.P

Both anime series are about kaiju (monsters) emerging from the ocean then trying to invade the surface and wage war on humanity. All of mankind must work together in order to out-fight and out-smart the kaiju enemy that's constantly evolving into deadlier and deadlier variations of it's kind. Godzilla S.P. is more of a mecha/sci-fi anime with a great original story taken from classic Godzilla concepts. While Nobunagun is a really cool super power/sci-fi anime that reinvents the alien invasion sub-genre with it's gritty contrasting manga like art style, it's gunfighting, militaria otaku knowledge and historical concept. I would definitely recommend watching both.
