Both animes are about idols who strive from scratch to become a worthy idol project. They participate in a variety of promo, in order to get fame.
Animes are similar in that each of girls has any problems and fears that each of them is trying to overcome.
Both anime have same atmosphere, but differ in that in the group Wake Up, Girls! real girls are singing, and in Zombieland Saga - zombie girls. In Zombieland Saga, of course, more fiction for humor, and in Wake Up, Girls! more real work of managers, labels and groups.
