In both of these animes we see relatively innocent lolis working in teams as part of a large organization to take down monsters such as Daemonia or Dragons.
I won't spoil much of what happens in Genei, but it follows a similar theme to each girl having a unique match.
Unlike Fafnir, Genei seems to be less focused on having overwhelmingly powerful enemies and instead focuses more on darkness and the people manipulating Daemonia and what mind games they use.
Unlike Genei, Fafnir has more of a harem vibe because it features a leading male character. Genei has no male protagonist.
