Some arcs in Monogatari Second Seasons have similar premise with Gakkou Gurashi, especially in a certain two arcs (Kabukimonogatari and Otorimonogatari). One arc have post-apocalyptic setting where the MC is left in a world surrounded by some kind of zombies, and the latter arc have a character having delusion because she can't accept the harsh reality. Both elements are the main theme in Gakkou Gurashi.
Other than the similar character designs, the OP song animation of both shows will have some changes, so its better to watch the opening too.
