Both series deal with 5 friends in a school setting. (Honey and Clover in college). Both are slice-of-life comedies that also have drama mixed in. Both are VERY character centric.
Both feature a blond loli-like main heroine, with similar feelings and a powerful soundtrack.

In both anime the main charachter is very small for their age (Hagu, Taiga) and have the same bittersweetness feel. It also has the right ratio of comedy:drama. Both of them are a great watch!
