Death Note has explicit strategy discussion and an intense cat-and-mouse chase, while The Perfect Insider takes a more cryptic approach with provocatively thoughtful conversations. Both shows have moral ambiguities they question. Death Note is darker, Subete ga F ni Naru also has a sort of darkness, but the darkness is thrown in with light optimism. Both will make you think hard, and satisfy your intellectual needs.
