they are both about a girl who get to go into a world that they don't know bout...
in juuni the girl became an empress and in harukanaru she became a preistess in a way they are similar and they both have people they're protectors in that world....^_^
they are both awesome anime....>_< i luv them both.....
I enjoyed both these series, and they are similar in the way that 3 friends get sucked into the past and the main girl is asked to save their kingdoms. The Twelve Kingdoms doesn't really have an ending though, which is disappointing... I'd still recommend giving it a watch though ^_^
