While it's only a supporting character trying to become a seiyuu in Sakurasou, both animes emphasize the theme about accomplishing your goals in certain fields of the entertainment industry like game design, VA, Manga and Animation. Also their struggle during this process has many similarities.
Further Sakurasou provides a wider variety on the romance aspect, which I strongly missed out in Sore ga Seiyuu.
