Both anime's are Shonen
Both shows main characters and Villain's Have Similar powers and are about powering up
Both Shows start out simple but gets darker and more exciting as you progress sorta like the Chimera ant arc in Hunter X hunter.
Both shows have Great Opening and Ending songs
also Both anime are Very underrated

They both feature a group of upbeat travelers with extraordinary and unpredictable powers that travels around working together with individual goals. Both are deep, emotional, and have some of the best fight scenes, battles, and antagonists I have ever seen in anime. These are both on my favorites and a must watch... if you enjoy one, you will enjoy the other!
They're both series involving magical abilities and can have the happiest and saddest moments. The fights aren't long and drawn out, they keep it interesting.
Overall two happy shows with some serious, dark moments too change it up.

They both deal with adventure and fun groups that you end up loving. There's dark moments but they're balanced perfectly with the happier moments. Although the world build in 7DS is a little more intense, I can promise you that the system of Nen should be able to keep up with that expectation.
