Although the genre of Inu x Boku SS is somewhat different to Sukitte Ii na yo, it is definitely a romance anime among everything else.
Similarities:
The girl is shy and distrusts everyone around her.
The main male love interest is tall and handsome, and is shown to have other woman interested in him as a result.
There are fluffy love moments like in Sukitte Ii na yo.
The main girl develops as a person, and starts letting people into her life.
School is a part of the show, however the romance doesn't take place there.
