They are similar due to their SOL and Comedy genre, both of them has a good artwork same with the animations, but Yuru Yuri has more Shoujo Ai vibes than Sansha Sanyou.
Both of them are really interesting anime; it has a vibe that you will never get bored-vibe in some aspects. Both of them is really good. You will have a good time spending your time. Your time will not be wasted.
It is worth watching.

They both focus on a group of cute girls and their everyday lives.
Very similar humour and characters.
Yuru Yuri does have the added bonus of having shoujo ai sprinkled here and there.
same style of comedy-- even the characters' personalities are quite similar, and the character genders are mostly females.
These two shows are focused on the daily lives of young female students. The premise might be a li'l bit different, but the flow of the story is similar.
comedy that centers around a number of cute girls with different personalities and backgrounds but they manage to hang out together.
