At first glance these two might as well have nothing in common in terms of story telling and characters. However what they do have in common are, for a lack of better terms vibes.
If you liked Ayashi no Ceres for it's different take on romance, one that is "mature" and comes to "fruition", Devill's Lane is sort of similar. The romance is mature, in a way they are obvious to each other, and the only reason it's not coming to fruition in the anime adaptation is due to outside circumstances but that ain't stopping feelings and actions from taking place.
