Very much the same simplistic, minimalist animation style. Girls sitting at the back of the classroom, living their own ordinary or not so ordinary life. Packed with quirky humour and adorable characters. If you liked one of them you should like the other.
The art of Nichijou is very different than your typical anime. Lots of its art is somewhat cube or blockish which is very different from your typical anime... Actually almost everything about Nichijou is different than your typical anime. There are tiny plots in the series for each character, but the show is mainly focused on its jokes and randomness. It's very random at times, but those random things can sometimes be things you can connect to and can sometimes be very true. Before I start, This is my first time recommending an anime :)
They both are comedy anime and kinda doesn't make any sense. They both are simple and mini animes. Will recommend if you don't have anything else to watch ^^
Both shows feature random, quirky humour and situations involving high school students. Yasuna and Yuuko are also similar, both being clumsy and outgoing brown-haired characters. The presentation is also similar, with episodes being collections of gags and skits.
Both of the anime is pretty wholesome,innocent and based on girls doing random cute things while sharing almost similar story setting.
While Nichijou is more of a calm,composed and wholesome comedy that slowly progresses with time with a bigger cast of characters & colourful simple stories,Kill me baby is straight up innocent gag comedy that goes crazy more often with more simplistic plot at every episodes,but you can really feel the same vibes in both of them.
