Your steins gate 0 review is trash man

Oh hi. Just read your review, didn't give it a thumbs up but I want to share my thoughts with you.
Wasn't S;G 0 such a blissful anime? Or did you feel that it was, perhaps too edgy or too focused on Okabe's harem? Is it the sole purpose as to why this anime now reside at the bottom of your list?

You're not wrong by any means, as someone who despise echi(just in general, not relating to S;G 0) and heavy harems, I believe I fit in the same shoe as you. Although I have to say, it's quite a bummer that you gave it a 4/10. Except, I without hesitation rated it a masterpiece, and I wish you would continue to read what I have to say.

I plead you to first overlook some of the negative aspects of S;G 0, harems, unnecessary plots + characters, and fillers (which was quite minimal if I recall). One thing I realized is that this anime contains a chain of actions. First you said Hiyajo-san had a complex /w Okabe and was a "wannabe Kurisutina", I lol'd, seriously I did, brilliant statement that was. Now have you thought about her role and what she portrays in S;G 0? The existence of Hiyajo-san is what put the beta world line into motion. She lead Okabe to Professor Leskinen, and Professor Leskinen lent him Amadeus, and it was bcz of Amadeus, as well as the time he met the real kurisu in another world-line, Okabe urged and pushed himself to achieve greatness, in other words, paving a way to Steins Gate. Once he figured out the steps of unlocking Stein Gate, returning from 2025, after 3000 consecutive time leaps, it was then he met Professor Leskinen again the dark stairwells up to Suzuha's time machine. I wondered what if Okabe had no connection with Leskinen, if he didn't recognize okabe, he wouldn't have hesitated to shoot right there and then. It provided Okabe the time to react and allowed Moeka to take action against him. I was not fond of the repeated failures when the time machine gets blown up by the helicopter. It brought a lot of melancholy back from S;G. Bcz I was such a huge fan of S;G and 0, I neglected the few imperfections, thus we reached ep.23 of S;G 0.

Episode 23 is the key point to that 10/10. I genuinely believe everything leading up to it had a meaning and very much pertained to the conclusion. What you saw this episode was the God of space and time committing the greatest sacrifice to ensure the creation/establishment of Steins Gate. An interstellar occurrence without a definition, yet limitless efforts is put towards a term only one man could comprehend. The 0 Okabe said near the end that he shall die in the year 2025. Consequently, he proceeded to initiate C204, ("C" stand for Christina, awee how lovely) the time machine mentioned in S;G during the D-mail sent by 0 Okabe, and traveled to 13,000 B.C. to rescue Mayuri and Suzuha. Not only did he achieve his goal of legit time traveling, but at the same moment he successfully rebelled against god itself, anything and everything became possible, bcz of the ability to change all events.

You might ask, did 0 Okabe return to the year 2025 along with Suzuha and Mayuri? (I think the world was still at war in the beta world-line) The best assumption is that he decided to stay behind in the prehistoric era, he never shy'd away from his fate, death in the year 2025. He knew exactly once the D-mail is sent to the Alpha world-line, to the okabe in S;G, Steins Gate is destined to be created, he listed all the steps to ensure such creation in the D-mail.

I was blown away, shedding a few tears of pure joy at the very last seconds, as the theme of S;G begin to play for the last time, I bid farewells to such an epic anime.

This shoulda been a review tbh :P But i'd rather have you hear it, and I hope to change your your mind by even just a little bit. A different perspective is always a plus as I too found your review quite intriguing.
:D
