Incredibly breathtaking and impossible to look away for even a minute. Up until around episode 30, this is one of the best romance/slice of life series I’ve ever seen. It doesnt shy away from difficult and realistic topics such as cheating, pregnancy, friendship drama and career struggles. The bond between the two NANA is what makes this series shine. I had the displeasure of watching Shinkais newest rendition of the same boring story for the 3rd or 4th time while I was living in Tokyo. Second season of this mid ass melodrama proved to be tenfold worse than the slow ass first season. How come 12 episodes were more excruciating to sit through than the first seasons 25?? Jesus christ man. This is worse than any soap opera ive ever seen. Main female has profound mental retardation. She takes over 8 episodes to realize ‘if i use my words to communicate then people will know what im thinking and feeling’. Alright, I’ve had to drop so many romance animes because I just cant stand the cringey melodrama, screaming and crying but I was able to sit through this one cause it kind of doesnt do that. The characters are pretty normal, if not extremely one note and boring.

The middle episodes (3-6 or 7) were quite interesting, I liked the hierarchy bit and the fight scenes. The concept (body switching) was alright, they couldve made it a lot more interesting or even explained it? The MC is a total ass in the beginning but has some random character development. I really loved this manga up til the end of Shibuya arc. Now that Culling Games are going on sadly I had to drop it. Too much constant introduction of new characters with new powers makes it uninteresting to me. Though many people don’t like this movie, I have to say I loved it. Theres a really refreshing summer vibe and almost a sense of melancholy portrayed in the film. Years after watching, I still love the soundtrack and listen to it often. The scenes of them on his bike going through the seaside town are so beautiful. From someone who absolutely loved the OG Naruto, I have to say Naruto Shippuden was a mixed bag for me. The peak of it was Pain arc in my opinion, and other great moments were Itachi vs Sasuke etc. The high points were extremely enjoyable and the characters were fun and interesting.
