That's funny, and it certainly makes one wonder just how many others out there share the same hobbies, but are very skilled at masking their interests (often without trying, too).

I think I'll have to read it at some point, then.

I see you just finished and enjoyed reading Angel Sanctuary. That was one of the first I'd ever read. :)

Well, my closest friends wouldn't be surprised, but I think others would be shocked that I like anything that could be identified as "gothic." I have a very sunny personality, so people are often shocked when I express interest in anything morose.

Haha, well, that's even more reason to avoid watching the anime -- good to know.

How was Petshop of Horrors? I watched the anime and liked it quite a bit, so I figured I'd read the manga, too.

Ah, many thanks. :D I've read manga there before, so I'm not entirely sure why I didn't think to look for X there.

And, yes, I really do enjoy gothic/Victorian manga, though I think that would surprise most people I know. I think it's the Western themes that actually appeal to me (I'm more familiar with them and, thus, can relate better). That, and it's usually very pretty.

I actually haven't watched Kuroshitsuji, the anime. Is it any good?

Aw, your Nyanko-sensei forum signature is so cute! :D

Well, normally I do, but the earliest compilation of scanlations I could find started at chapter 36 (I think?), which meant I would miss all of the crucial opening chapters. I suppose, with further digging, I might possibly be able to find them.

Haha, looking just at your favorites I see that you and I both really enjoy reading Godchild and Kuroshitsuji. I haven't read Trigun Maximum or 07-Ghost, however.

It sounds like an excellent story, and I fully intend to start once I manage to locate some of the earlier volumes. :)

I can see from your profile that you also like Natsume Yuujincho quite a bit. I haven't seen the anime, but I love the manga. And, actually, quite a few of your listed favorites are series I also thoroughly enjoyed.

Yeah, Tokyo Babylon is, without a doubt, one of the best manga I've ever read (and probably CLAMP's best work to date, though I haven't read X or RG Veda yet).

Looking at our lists, I can see that we seem to have very similar tastes. It's always fun to find someone who shares similar interests.
