I saw you havnt updated your list in a while so i was worried you wouldnt reply but YAY.
Im glad your doing well, its been a long two years since i came to grad school! Are you no longer at PhD?
Seattle is a great city ive heard, if not expensive, but probably not different to you. OMG, i gave it a follow, and how is DAN so talentED. Like its giving me neil gaiman x old manga vibes and i love the style. Is he still in texas?
Ive been relatively good, just enjoying doing research while I try to find other things to do in the area. Glad i got san fran tho, he keeps me going XD. Im in nuclear theory now and dont gotta teach or anything so i been doing some community activities.
I tried sending you pics of him but the messages failed to deliver, I was wondering if you switched your number or something. If you still got my number just feel free to send me a text so you can see his annoying big head. He is a quarantine dog that when I got had pretty bad seperation anxiety so I blame his last owners for not training him, but me and my gf are working on training him, we know he was never crate trained and never left along by the past owners. BUt other than that hes a sweetheart and very calm when around us, plus loves walks. Hes only 9 months old :).
What has convinced you to go for the PhD now, and is it still in environmental engineering (I hope i got that right).
My grad journey has been pretty good! I dont think I have you on LinkedIn, but i got the NSF GRFP my first year so that was great news! I have joined the nuclear astrophysics group here and am doing my PhD at Duke too, working at TUNL. I got denied by duke but now I ended up having an office there and working there. I love the area that I am in though, and hope you and dan can come visit sometime >:). I do want to go to San Fran soon though.
I checked out your list!! You been watching some bangers. You gotta check out Mushishi’s second season, it’ll make you feel all the feelings of the first. Hope all is well and you are shining always š³
