this is a list of anime that i'm keeping that includes primarily what i've seen as of 2010 and occasionally other series i can remember, so keep in mind i've seen a lot more than what i have listed because it either doesn't stand out in my mind and isn't important enough to keep track of or i just flat-out forget it

most of the anime i have are listed between 7-10 and that's because six is considered decent due to me having really high standards but because i have really high standards i don't want to put things i liked at a six. don't trust my judgement unless i actually have something worth saying

Ah i did not know that, I always though Akagi was his first big hit... but Akagi was kind of the prequel to Ten so I understand.

Well that sounds interesting, I really like Ten's character most of all so far, it's a bit different from FKMT's other protagonists.

wow 15 years, and I though Berserk was taking a while to finish...

And so far i'm really enjoying Ten, i like the atmosphere and characters so far, hopefully it stays good, that being said i'm only 2 chapters in so it's too soon to say anything

So, I finished watching akagi and all I can say is the ending left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, it ends in a total cliff hanger. I also started reading Ten and so far I'm liking it. The main character is a lot more happy go lucky then some of fkmt's protagonists so far and I'm excited to see where it goes.

Alright sounds good, and after i watch it i can just read Ten, or do i need to read the Akagi manga too in order to understand Ten?

The reason i have yet to read Ten and Akagi is that I have no idea how Mahjong is played and i don't really want to go in totally dry. I want to learn about how Mahjong is played rather then just reading a manga about it having no idea what is going on you know?

I agree that the type of depressing feeling Kurosawa invoked was not really a forced one like something our of Clannad or something of that nature but rather really legitimate. I really liked how Kurosawa was able to blend the over the top humor with the tragic tones without making anything seem forced or out of place. I would not really call Gai tragic, I mean it's messed up as you stated but it's nothing close to Kurosawa.

Yea i agree that one of FKMT's most defining traits is his art style, but i would still like to see what his work would look with a different style behind it, who knows i might even like it hahaha. Plus depressing + FKMT sounds like a match made in heaven, i really enjoyed the tragic aspects of Kurosawa more then his comedic ones... even though Kurosawa throwing shit at 3 pro wrestlers was funny as hell

Ah, that sucks, well... i'll take what I can get, really hope it gets pulled off hiatus i really like it so far. I'll probably read Seizon -LifE- when i'm done with what Gin To Kin has to offer

Yea i know what you mean while i loved the human derby arc i did not really like the glass staircase twist at the end.

Also it's not fully translated??? isn't it from like 1993 0_o
