I read stuff. And I try to buy manga whenever I can.

While I hate doing that, will start rating what I've read and might even do the same to what I've watched.

But first, let me explain the reason why I hate doing that.

It's really simple if you think about it: It's because it's really hard to do. Think about it. How does one rate something they've read? What makes a manga better than an other one? If one gives a rating of 7 to one manga and 8 to another, does that mean that the 8 one is better than the 7 one? Even if they have different genres, like if one for example is a fighting manga and the other is a comedy/slice of life?

For that reason, it took me quite some time to actually get to rating everything I've read. Now, what answer did I come up with to cope with the reason I just gave? Well... I just decided to not think about it too hard.

Pretty much gonna put the first number that comes to my mind when I think about each manga. And since there's no .5 points here, just gonna round it to the closest number to it.

Please keep in mind that the rating might be influenced by a single panel/page/arc, whether in a bad or good way. For example a manga that I deem to be overall a 7 might get an 8 on a whim, solely based on a single panel that I can't get out of my head. Does that mean that it's at the same level as the other 8 rated mangas? Probably not, but heck who cares, if that one panel deserved an 8, then an 8 it is.

While I think I should give out the correct rating, might forget something and rate inaccurately something, and if that's the case, feel free to tell me why you disagree with certain ratings, am always interested in seeing others' opinions and thus open to them !

Now, one last point I want to adress is the following: One might think that my ratings are too high. And it's true, while I haven't yet at this very moment started rating the mangas I've read, I can pretty much guess that there'll be a lot of 6's, 7's and 8's.

Why? Well, just because if I've managed to read an entire manga, it can't be all that bad. Why would you read something from start to end if you hate it? Now I can understand those that just want to get used to different genres, but those that just want to hate on a manga... that's kinda sad. Read something you enjoy instead.

Plus, I respect from the bottom of my heart those that've written a manga from start to finish, and as such would have a really hard time being too harsh on it. You might see one or two 5's in there, but it's just that it reaaally wasn't my type, not that it was particularly bad per say or anything like that.
